Basically Kurt had a Blackbird moment.

Oh great so it was a quote to Santana talking about his love for Blaine. That makes it worse in my eyes.

Kurt confided in someone and told them his feelings…the smart thing to do would be cut it. Makes sense. Sarcasm.
